Guru Peyarchi 2010

Guru Baghwan takes a retrograde course into Kumba Raasi on 02-11-2010.  He traverses in Kumba Raasi until 04-12-2010 and takes his regular transit into Meena Raasi on 04-12-2010

Guru Peyarchi (retro transit) takes place on 07-11-2010 according to Suddha Vaakiya Panjangam (Paambu Panjangam).

The same is calculated to take place on 02-11-2010 as per Thirukkanidha Panjangam.

There are several Panjangams available both in Suddha Vaakiyam and Thirukkanidham versions.  There might be slight difference in the date and time of Guru Peyarchi from one Panjangam and the other.

Similarly, according to Suddha Vaakiya Panjangam, Guru Peyarchi (regular transit) takes place on 21-11-2010 and the same is on 04-12-2010 according to Thirukkanidham System of Panjangam.

Ignore this difference for the purpose of General Predictions of Guru Peyarchi.  Let us proceed with our predictions as if the regular Guru Peyarchi into Meena Raasi from Kumba Raasi takes place on 04-12-2010.

Guru Baghwan traveses on Poorattathi Nakshatra 3rd Paadam and moves into Poorattathi 4th Paadam on 04-12-2010.   By this time he is into Meena Raasi.

The speciality about this period is that he is going to traverse on his own Nakshatra and in his own house Meenam.

For Midhuan Raasi people, Guru is going to traverse into the 10th house and for Thulam Raasi people he is going to traverse in the 6th house.

The adverse impact of Guru Baghwan's presence in Meena Raasi from 04-12-2010 will not be hard felt by people of Punarpoosam, Visakam and Poorattathi Nakshatras until Guru Baghwan moves into Uthirattathi Namshatra on 06-01-2011.

The real adverse impact - if any - will be evident when Guru Baghwan goes on Uthirattathi Nakshatra in the early hours on 06-01-2010 for the three Nakshatras namely Poorattathi, Punarpoosam and Visakam.

Even if your Raasi does not attract any adverse impact, it is advisable that all go to the nearby Temple and pray Shree Guru Baghwan for his grace and mercy on the occasion of Guru Peyarchi or anytime during the day.

It may be noted that Guru Peyarchi in Temples is adopted as per Suddha Vaakiya Panjangam.  Massive Archana and celebrations of Guru Peyarchi will be performed on 21st or 22nd November 2010.

Alangudi in the former Thanjavur District and Thittai near Thanjavur are the two Temples are the Guru Sthalams.  Those having Guru in unfavourable positions in their respective horoscopes should go to either of these two Temples and pray Shree Guru Baghwan.

During Guru Peyarchi also, those who find it comfortable may go to either of these two Temples and pray Lord Guru Baghwan.

For those, going all the way to these Temples is not convenient, may pray Lord Guru Baghwan in the nearby Temple and pray, on the occasion of Guru Peyarchi.
Regular Guru Peyarchi takes place (according to Thirukkanidha Panjangam System) on 04-12-2010.  Shree Guru Baghwan is supposed to be in Meena Raasi for one year from then.

But he again takes an advance course and moves into Mesha Raasi in the early hours of 08-05-2011.  Having already served a tenure in Meena Raasi, Shree Guru Baghwan is going to be in Meena Raasi only upto 08-05-2011 and then he is moving into Mesha Raasi.

Evidently, the regular transit period is getting shifted to May instead of regular November/December, since Shree Guru Baghwan is not returning back to Maana Raasi after 08-05-2011.

As such, having already served a tenure in Meenam, the impact of Guru Peyarchi due on 08-05-2011 can as well be felt two months prior to actual transit.  So to say, the effects will be evident from 08-03-2011 onwards.

It should be conceived that the general Guru Peyarchi Predictions for December 2010 is only for a period of 4 to 6 months commencing November 2010.

The present predictions on Guru Peyarchi are meant for the period until 05-05-2011.  Since Guru is not going to take a recourse into Meenam thereafter, though being an advance course (Adhisaram), it will be conceived as a regular Guru Peyarchi and predictions therefore will be published later.
